In a significant reshuffling within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ranks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has removed Atif Khan and Sher Ali Arbab from their party positions.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Atif Khan, who was serving as the President of PTI Peshawar Region, and Sher Ali Arbab, the President of District Peshawar, have been relieved of their duties.
Atif Khan's dismissal comes after he publicly supported the dismissed Minister Shakil Khan, while Sher Ali Arbab's removal is attributed to his refusal to sign a declaration of confidence in the Chief Minister.
In their stead, Arbab Asim has been appointed as the new President of PTI Peshawar Region, and Irfan Saleem has taken over as the President of District Peshawar.
Additionally, Shahab Advocate has been appointed as the General Secretary of District Peshawar.
These changes were officially notified by PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's General Secretary, Ali Asghar Khan, with the approval of the provincial president.
