A law enforcement agency office came under a grenade attack in the Pushin district of Balochistan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
No loss of life was reported in the blast, police said. They added that the explosion inflicted minor damage on the office room.
Meanwhile, a railway track was blown up in the Bolan district. The schedule of Bolan mail coming from Quetta to Karachi has been hampered as the blast sent the railway traffic out of gear.
According to the Pakistan Railways, the track repair will take 2-3 days. Law enforcers rushed to the spots and launched a hunt for the miscreants.
The blasts occurred hours after terrorist hits rattled the province. According to ISPR, 14 security personnel embraced martyrdom and 21 terrorists were killed. The military's media wing said on the night between August 25-26, the terrorists attempted to conduct numerous heinous activities in Balochistan.
On the behest of “inimical and hostile forces”, the ISPR said these cowardly acts of terrorism were aimed at disrupting the peaceful environment and development of Balochistan by targeting mainly innocent civilians, especially in Musa Khel, Kalat and Labela districts.
