SHO, 3 cops dismissed from service for facilitating dacoit gang in Islamabad

In a surprising move, Islamabad cops turned out to be an abettor of dacoits during armed robberies in various areas of the twin cities, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, a criminal gang involved in various robbery incidents in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Taxila has the full support of one SHO, one sub-inspector and one ASI of Islamabad Police.
On the tip off, Inspector General of Islamabad Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi ordered DIG Operations to conduct an inquiry of the allegations and during allegation against Police officers and officials proved true that they were facilitating dacoity bids.
On the orders of IG Islamabad, SHO Sub-Inspector Asim Ghaffar, Head constable Muhammad Sajid, two constables Muhammad Haroon, Muhammad Naveed were dismissed from their jobs while Sub-Inspector Zafar Iqbal was demoted to ASI.
