KEMU security officials suspended for unauthorized wedding photoshoot

The registrar of King Edward Medical University (KEMU) Lahore on Tuesday suspended the services of security officials for conducting unauthorized photography at the university premises.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the suspended officials are included KEMU Security Supervisor Sada Hussain Shah, Security Guard Muhammad Tanveer, and Driver Muhammad Asif.
The KEMU security officials have been suspended with immediate effect on administrative grounds due to misconduct as per the inquiry report regarding the wedding photoshoot meter.
Earlier, a three-member inquiry committee was formed under the chairmanship of King Edward Medical College (KEMU) Registrar Dr Riasat Ali to investigate the wedding photoshoot matter on the university’s premises.
A wedding photoshoot was done in different parts of the King Edward Medical University building. The couple and the photographer along with the team arrived at the university after closing hours.
The preliminary inquiry revealed that the guards of the university allowed the photoshoot. However, no permission was sought from King Edward Medical University.
The inquiry committee also obtained the CCTV footage of the incident.
The Vice Chancellor of the University said that strict action will be taken against those responsible.
