Federal Minister for Interior Brig (r) Ijaz Ahmad Shah has said that improving visa facilities for Bosnia is one of our topmost priority and we have successfully executed it to a greater extent. He said that we tend to further streamline the system for smooth functioning.

The interior minister was talking to Ambassador of Bosnia Mr Sakib Forik who called on him at the Ministry of Interior on Thursday to discuss bilateral ties and matters pertaining to visa.

Ijaz Shah said that the two countries have always enjoyed good terms. To which the Ambassador responded that we would like to take things further and make these cooperation terms even better.

Regarding addressing the matter of illegal immigrants, the Interior Minister said that we are in process of completely eliminating this problem. We have improved security checks at the airport and introduction of E-Passport is also on cards to ensure that no one can travel on forged documents. We hope to minimise and eventually fully solve this problem soon, he added.

Bosnian Ambassador Sakib Forik thanked Minister for his time and positive response to discussed matters. He also hoped that mutual cooperation will strengthen over time between the two countries.
