FIA unearths racket operating illegal institute

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad on Monday booked a person for running an illegal educational institution, reported
The accused identified as Adnan Rasheed was arrested from E-11 Islamabad.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the arrested was playing with the future of the new generation by an unregistered organization titled ‘Technical Board and Training Council Islamabad’.
The organization has been issuing bogus nursing and engineering diplomas and degree certificates, the FIA official said.
The arrested was running an organized racket that was operating various printing presses too.
The gang was also involved in issuing receipts of arms without purchase with the connivance of arms dealers.
The arrested accused had also introduced several fake websites in the name of a technical institute.
During the raid, the FIA team confiscated a large number of fake technical degrees, nursing certificates, fake PMDC licenses, and arms receipts from his custody.
The team also recovered several fake seals of government institutions, various embassies, education boards, notary public, and foreign office from the office of the accused.
The investigation further revealed that the accused had charged huge fees in the name of online admission.
A case was registered against five persons including accused Adnan Rashid.
The FIA team is conducting raids to arrest the rest accomplices, the FIA spokesperson hinted.
