Together with Sharifs, IPP to solve public problems: Tareen

Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) chief Jehangir Tareen has said he will live up to public expectations, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
“Together with former premiers Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, we will improve the country's economy,” he said in his address to an election gathering in Multan.
He visited the residence of UC-8 Chairman Rana Miraj, who joined IPP. Jehangir also visited the shrine of Shah Shams, laid a wreath and offered fateha.
The IPP chief said the Multan district has been plagued by many problems, including improper infrastructure. However, he added that he will take steps to bring betterment to the district.
He continued: “It is my responsibility to solve public problems. The ex-rulers have failed to deliver, landing the people in trouble. Our manifesto presents solutions to all the problems.
“The improvement of the country's economy is the most important. People will show trust in us. We have to deliver. We will create jobs and take steps to bring betterment. “February 8 will be a day of good news for us.”
