Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar opens up about marrying Faysal Quraishi's ex-wife

Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar, one of Pakistan's most successful and controversial writers and directors, admitted during a recent podcast interview that he married TV actor Faysal Quraishi's former wife, but he was not responsible for their breakup. 

Speaking to Irshad Bhatti on his podcast, Khalil said he met Faysal's wife just twice when they were shooting the drama serial "Boota from Toba Tek Singh" in Lahore. During the interview, he swore to God that he was not responsible for the breakup. He said that he even tried to save Faysal's marriage, but failed. He however refused to give on live show details of how he married Faysal's former wife. He said that Faysal is a wonderful actor and he fought for him. He said that Faysal came to do just five scene and he impressed him very much during the audition. 

Referring to a recent scandal involving his late night visit to a female fan's house, Khalil said he went to see his fan, but he was kidnapped and tortured. He insisted that he would do it again if a fan calls him. He said the chief justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected the bail application of Amina Arooj, the girl who called him to her house, and he is waiting for the court to punish her for what she did to him.
