SC Constitutional Bench dissolved after Justice Ayesha recuses to hear case

An eight-member constitutional bench of the Supreme Court (SC), hearing the case pertaining to the constitutional status of section 221 of the Customs Act, was split on Monday when Justice Ayesha A. Malik recused from hearing the case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

While announcing her decision, the judge said she would give reasons for that later.
