Amina handed over to police on 4-day physical remand in Khalilur Rehman honey-trap case

Police abolished the kidnapping clause against accused Amina Urooj and others in the Khalilur Rehman Qamar honey-trap case and added a more serious section of abduction for ransom on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sunder Police produced the accused Amina Urooj in the honey-trap case of famous TV playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar before the Judicial Magistrate's court after the three-day remand was over. The court handed over the accused to the police on further four-day physical remand.
In the court, the prosecution submitted that the investigation has revealed that the case is of kidnapping for ransom. From this, the section of kidnapping has been removed and the section of kidnapping for ransom has been added.
So the case was transferred to the anti-terrorism court and the accused should be allowed to appear before the ATC, the prosecution further submitted.
However, the Judicial Magistrate issued an order to present Amina Urooj in the anti-terrorism court. Police have arrested 11 more accused in this case who are currently on the identity parade.
