Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Sunday visited the streets of Karachi to check out the situation of the city, reported 24News HD TV channel.
While passing through Rehmani Mosque at Tariq Road Rehman, the CM stopped at a cold corner of a blind elderly man. There was a board written with the request to the CM, DG Rangers and others authorities not to remove his stall as he was a blind man and earn his bread and butter by selling cold drinks here.
The CM bought cold drinks from the stall and told the blind old man that he was the chief minister. The CM asked the old man who disturbed him. He told the CM that police and administrative officials disturbed him.
The CM immediately called the relevant authorities and ordered them not to disturb the old man. He appealed to the people to buy drinks from the shop as the old man was working hard to run his home despite the blindness. He said the old man was an example of hardworking and we should appreciate him.
