Three children were killed and another sustained serious injuries when the wall of a swimming pool collapsed in Lahore.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the tragedy took place in the Badami Bagh area of the provincial capital.
Police and rescuers rushed to the spot while the pool staff fled.
Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz took notice and sought a report from the authorities concerned.
He prayed the Almighty may rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
He issued directives to the authorities concenred to provide the injured with the best treatment facilities.
