Islamabad-bound PML-N marchers gearing up to leave Gujranwala

The participants of Mehangai Mukao March launched by the PML-N reached Gujranwala early in the morning on Sunday where the party would hold a big public rally later today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz who are leading the march stayed at the house of party leader and MPA Imran Khalid Butt.
A large contingent of police has been deputed outside the house of the MPA. Maryam and Hamza will address the participants of the PML-N rally at 3pm today outside the Iqbal High School on GT Road.
The PML-N Mehangai Mukao March will reach Islamabad tomorrow.
Preparations have been made to greet the marchers everywhere in Gujranwala. It is expected that big rallies from the rural areas and interior of the city will reach the venue of the public meeting.
Since the Mehangai Mukao March reached the city late, early in the morning, the party cancelled Maryam and Hamza’s address to the participants in the night.
Today, after the public address of both the leaders, the march will head towards Jhelum.
Earlier, Maryam and Hamza along with PML-N central leaders had their breakfast at the house of MPA Khalid Butt. The breakfast menu included Siri Paye, egg and chick peas, Naan and Halwa Puri.
While addressing the march participants at different points, Maryam said that the government in fact had gone. “We are going to Islamabad to bid adieu to it,” she added. She said ‘no matter how many times Imran Khan pleads with people, nothing is going to happen. There is no one who can save him.’
Hamza said that Imran had to go home. He said the voice that was raised in Punjab, it became the voice of the entire country.
Addressing directly to PM Khan, Hamza said we had got all the surprises which you wanted to give us. Now it’s our turn to give a surprise, he said adding one-day life of a lion is better than the 100 years’ life of a jackal. He said Imran must be held accountable.
Meanwhile, all preparations have been made in Sarai Alamgir where the marchers will make their next stay. Party flags and big flaxes have been erected along the routes of the march. The participants would stay at Tulip Hotel.
