The ice is melting down in relations between the Centre and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government as Energy Minister Awais Leghari and KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur are set to meet again on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The interior ministry said this development came during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Energy Minister Awais Leghari, and KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur in Islamabad on Sunday.

Talking to the media, Energy Minister Awais Leghari termed CM Gandapur as pro-state. The federal minister said power theft was a national issue and the Centre would be able to overcome loadshedding and other issues with the help of the provinces. He said Gandapur knows about the problems and challenges being faced by the country.

Laghari said KP CM wanted to bring comfort to the lives of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Energy Minister announced working together with the KP Chief Minister, adding that, “We will solve the problems of electricity theft and load shedding together”.

The federal minister said that he and the KP chief minister will be going to hold another meeting and hoped that they would resolve the due demand of the people of KP.

Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Energy Minister and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister agreed to resolve issues, including load shedding and electricity, together.
