Karachi Police arrest extorters connected with Lyari gang war group

Karachi Police Monday arrested two armed extortionists belonging to the Shakeel Badshah group involved in the Lyari gang war, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
The accused extorters, identified as Javed and Sohail, extorted money from people using the name of Shakeel Badshah Khan.
They extorted Rs300000 from a store owner named Shoaib a few days ago. A facilitator of the extorters Tauqeer, who helped in their last offence has also been arrested. The accused extorters were also demanding money from a mill owner.
The police said that they were arrested from the Napier Police Station area and their mobile phones and guns were seized. They used the mobile phones for extortion.
