SriLanka Airlines repatriates 50 Pakistanis

As many as 50 Pakistanis stranded in Sri Lanka are expected to return home Tuesday as a result of the cooperation between the Pakistani and Sri Lankan governments, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
According to details, the 50 stranded Pakistani citizens left Colombo for Pakistan via SriLankan Airlines plane.
Pakistani citizens thanked the Government of Pakistan and Pakistan High Commission for taking swift action for their return to Pakistan during these difficult times of coronavirus.

Pakistan's Deputy High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Tanveer Ahmed was at the airport to streamline the boarding process and to see off the Pakistani citizens.
The Deputy High Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by them regarding the return of Pakistanis stranded in Sri Lanka and also ensured that all Foreign Office is working around the clock with governments around the world to assist and accommodate Pakistani citizens abroad.
