Four friends drown in Chenab River, fifth rescued

Four of the five friends drowned while taking a swim in the Chenab River’s deep waters in Gujrat on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The fifth friend was rescued from the Chenab River.
Rescue 1122 said that all the five were friends and the unfortunate incident occurred when they went into deep waters and hence drowned.
The locals expressed their anger that despite the imposition of Section 144, why district authorities were not able to implement in letter spirit.
Rescue 1122 launched the operation to find the dead body.
