Video of lightning striking Makkah Clock Tower goes viral

A video of lightning striking the Makkah Clock Tower in Saudi Arabia has gone viral on social media.

According to media reports, the video shows lightning falling on the clock tower. 

This is a unique and amazing scene of its kind. The clock tower faces the Grand Mosque.

The administration of the Haramain Sharifain has shared on its Twitter account photos of lightning strikes on Clock Tower during thunderstorms on Thursday.

It may be recalled that the National Meteorological Center had expected thundershowers in Makkah yesterday.
