Results of LB's by-election in KP: PPP scores three chairman seats

The results of the Local Governments’ by-elections on 65 vacant seats in 21 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) were released, reported 24newsHD TV channel on Sunday.
By-elections for various vacant seats in 65 village and neighborhood councils in 21 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continued from 8 am to 5 pm, the results of which are still coming.
The complete unofficial result for the five seats of chairman in Lower Dir stated that Pakistan People’s Party won three seats in Timergara, Talash and Dehati Banda whereas Jamaat-e-Islami won a chair and PTI was able to score only one seat.
Elections were held for women chairman seats in upper Dir out of which PTI scored a seat while PPP won the other and Jamaat-e-Islami won the village chairman seat.
For the seat of General Counsilor in Takht-Bhai, PTI's Rahim Shah won with 851 votes, JUI's Mukhtiar Ali got second place with 725 votes while PML-N’s Abbas Khan got third place with 229 votes.
PTI Amjad Khan won the Kissan Councilor seat for east Barikot Swat while his opponent Akbar Ali of ANP got 331 votes. For the seat of youth councilor in Bajaur, independent candidate Islamuddin won with 549 votes, while Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Imad came second with 395 votes. According to the unofficial results, an independent candidate Shahid Iqbal won the seat of Youth Councilor in Tehsil Kabal with 974 votes while PTI’s Asif Khan came second with 835 votes.
