Cold and dry weather expected across Pakistan on Thursday

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast cold and dry weather for most parts of the country on Thursday, with fog likely to affect visibility in several areas, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.
According to the PMD, Islamabad will experience cold and dry weather, with fog possible in some places in the morning. The temperature in the capital will range from 4°C to 18°C.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts will have cold and dry weather, while the upper districts will be very cold. Fog is expected in Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda, Nowshera, Peshawar and DI Khan in the morning and night hours. The temperature in Peshawar will range from 6°C to 19°C.
Punjab will also have cold and dry weather in most districts, while Murree, Galiat and surrounding areas will be very cold. Heavy fog/smog is likely to cover Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Okara, Kasur, Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Mangala, Faisalabad, Jhang, Sargodha, Mandi Bahauddin, Toba Tek Singh, Khanewal, Multan, Khanpur, Rahimyar Khan, Hafizabad, Bhakkar, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan and surrounding areas. Fog is also possible at some places in the Potohar region during morning hours. The temperature in Lahore will range from 7°C to 19°C.
Balochistan will have cold and dry weather in most districts, while the northern districts will be very cold. The temperature in Quetta will range from -5°C to 14°C.
Sindh will have cold and dry weather in most districts. Fog/smog is expected in Jacobabad, Mohenjodaro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki and Pad Eidan during morning and night hours. The temperature in Karachi will range from 12°C to 25°C.
Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir will have very cold and dry weather. Fog is also possible at some places in Kashmir during the morning hours. The temperature in Gilgit will range from -4°C to 13°C.
