Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi, the leader of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), has been cleared to contest the upcoming general elections from NA 50 Attock and NA 160 Manchanabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.
His nomination papers were approved by the returning officers on Wednesday.
Rizvi criticized the traditional politicians for being responsible for the current situation in the country and accused them of amending the constitution and law according to their intention.
He also slammed the judiciary for being biased and unfair, saying that there is no such thing as law in the country.
He claimed that the powerful can open the courts at night and make arbitrary decisions, while the weak are denied justice. He urged the judges to make decisions according to the constitution and law instead of personal whims.
He said that providing equal justice to the weak and the strong is called justice, and that a country built on the basis of words will not be allowed to become secular on the basis of force. He asserted that the only solution to the current problems of Pakistan is the implementation of the Islamic system.
He also warned that if someone acts against the integrity of the country, he should be brought to justice.
He expressed his sorrow over the injustice done to the elderly mothers, sisters and children of the Baloch nation, and condemned the coercion and violence against them.
He demanded that the chapter on forced disappearances should be closed, and questioned how long the institutions will continue to give arguments on this issue.
