In the absence of Speaker Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali in Quetta, newsly elected senior member Engineer Zmarak Khan Achakzai has been notified to preside over the Balochistan Assembly session.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Engineer Zmarak Khan Achakzai is considered among the senior members and Balochistan Governor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has issued a notification for the nomination of senior members to chair the first session of the provincial assembly.
According to the notification, former Speaker Rahila Durrani will chair the session in the absence of Engineer Zmarak Khan Achakzai.
Assembly sources said that Speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali is not in Quetta due to his busy schedule.
