Government notifies fresh guidelines to stem pandemic spread

On the directives of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the fresh guidelines to stem the spread of Covid-19 have been notified.
According to the notification, wearing facemask was made mandatory while 50 per cent of staff was made work from home and the restrictions on indoor activities will remain in place till February 28.
Bars on hotel outdoor dining have been lifted and universities will commence examination online.
The government planned coronavirus vaccination next week. NCOC head Asad Umer said the system for vaccination is in place and hundreds of vaccination centres will be administering Covid vaccine across the country.
The vaccination of front-line health workers will start next week, he tweeted adding that China pledged to donate 500,000 doses made by the Chinese firm SinoPharm to Pakistan.
