The boy, who had shot dead four members of his own family at Kahna, Lahore around 10 days ago, because the latter would prohibit him from playing a violent online game, PUBG, has made some bone-chilling revelations to the police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

SSP Imran Kishwar has told the media that Zain, who killed his mother, two sisters and a brother, has disclosed that before committing the crime, he attached a silencer to his pistol, then placed a cushion on his mother’s face so that her screams could not be heard, then shot dead his two sisters and in the last his brother.

“And then after finishing his task, Zain went downstairs and slept,” the SSP explained.

He further said that the PUBG-crazy boy was also familiar with some deadly weapons as well as their types.

Punjab Police to recommend ban on PUBG:

Meanwhile, keeping in view the extremely destructive effects of the PUBG on children and teenagers’ mental health, the Punjab Police have decided to recommend to the provincial government to impose a ban on the game.

The spokesman for the police has said that the boy at Kahna had killed members of his own family because he was under the illusion that just like it happened in the PUBG, they, too, would become alive again.

Resolution submitted in PA demanding ban on game:

In yet another development in connection with the incident, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member of Punjab Assembly (MPA) Kanwal Liaquat Advocate has submitted a resolution in the assembly, seeking a ban on the PUBG since it is making the youth violent and thus resulting in crimes.

Yesterday (Thursday, January 27, 2022) 24News had reported that the police had at last succeeded in unravelling the mystery of the killings of four members of the same family at Kahna after the surviving boy confessed to having killed all four of them.

Four dead bodies, including three women, were recovered from a Lahore house on the morning of January 19, 2022, who had been shot dead from a point-blank range.
