Punjab govt delegation calls on Sikh community in Toronto

Punjab Government’s ministerial delegation called on the Sikh community in Toronto, Canada and discussed the prospects of boosting tourism and trade, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.


A three-member ministerial delegation comprised Provincial Trade Minister SM Tanvir, Education Minister Mansur Qadir and Tourism Minister Amir Mir.


The delegation conveyed the best wishes message from Punjab Chief Minister Mohin Naqvi to the community. The Sikh community leaders were also invited to visit Pakistan.


Both sides agreed to boost bilateral trade and religious tourism. It was agreed that five-star hotels should be constructed in Kartarpur to facilitate the visitors.


Sikh community was told that the Government of Punjab launched a tourism portal which will facilitate the visitors with all the details of various packages. Under the portal, foolproof security will be provided to the community.
