JUI Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has asked PTI to assure him that JUI will not be ditched, reported 24NewsHDTV channel. 

According to sources, Maulana Fazl said JUI was mistreated by PPP and PML-N several and JUI cannot afford more deception. 

Maulana Fazl expressed his displeasure as PTI did not took JUI into confidence before starting negotiations with the government. The sources said PTI expressed apology for not consulting JUI on negotiations with the government. 

Maulana Fazl and PTI agree on public mobilization campaign across the country. PTI assured that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will not give any statement against Maulana Fazlur Rehman. 

Earlier, PTI delegation comprising MNA Asad Qaiser, Opposition leader Omar Ayub, Salman Raja and others called on JUI Chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman at his residence and briefed him about negotiation between PTI and the government, reported 24NewsHDTV channel. 

Talking to media after their meeting, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said PTI held detailed discussion on overall political situation and the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner. 

He said Omar Ayub had written several letters to the government regarding the start of procedure for the appointment of CEC but the government failed to respond. 

Salman Raja said during meeting, it was agreed by both sides that for rule of law, all pro democratic forces have to join hands. 

He said JUI Chief listened to their point of view and he was hopeful that PTI and JUI will move together. He said after PECA Act, journalism has become a crime. 

Salman Raja said during the meeting it was also decided that PTI will make contact with Baloch leader Mehrang Bloch and request her to start mutual struggle for rights. 

Opposition leader Omar Ayub said PTI contacted Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and all other parties of the opposition. 

He said the government had made promise with PTI that their negotiation committee will be allowed to meet Imran Khan but they meeting was not allowed despite monitored environment. 

Moreover, the residence of Sahibzada Hamid Raza was raided. He said PTI delegation visited Maulana for rule of law. He said the arrest of PTI workers continues and government was not ready to accept PTI demands. Omar Ayub said the government has not constituted judicial commissions. 

JUI Senator Kamran Murtaza said JUI has not voted the government during Digital Nation Act and PECA Act. 

He said during JUI and PTI meeting, appointment of CEC and other members was reviewed. JUI Senator Kamran said two members committee comprising Asad Qaiser and Kamran Murtaza have been set up to see the thing how both parties can move on.
