Crocodile’s stroll scares villagers in Thatta

The locals and the wildlife team caught after great struggle a crocodile that had come out of Haleji Lake and reached very close to human population in a Thatta village, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
It is learnt that the crocodile came out of the lake due to the lack of proper arrangements there, and it was later caught and released back into the lake.
“Many times, the crocodiles have come out of the lake and attacked the local people,” they villagers complained while talking to media.
“The crocodiles have attacked and injured many people. They have also made many people disabled,” they added.
They demanded that an iron fence be installed around the banks of the Haleji Lake to ensure protection of the people from crocodiles’ attacks.
It is to be noted here that Haleji Lake is reserved for the crocodiles.
