Increase in driving licence card fee on the cards

The authorities have decided to increase driving licence card fee in Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The summary for the 150% increase in the driving licence fee has been moved.

The decision comes after the increase in the license fee.

The police officials said that the summary to increase the license card fee from Rs180 to Rs475 was submitted.

This step was taken keeping in view the increasing price of the materials of the card in the market.

It was stated that the license cards made in the future will be up to the international standards and they will also have added security features.

The officials further said that the contract for making the licence cards and the process of a tender for a new contract will be passed on Thursday.
