"Second Line Border Control" office established at Lahore airport to curb illegal immigration

In a significant move to combat illegal immigration, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore has established a "Second Line Border Control" office at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.


According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the newly established office is equipped with advanced technology. It is established under the directives of Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi.


The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) spokesperson said the control system installed with the cooperation of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) aims to prevent illegal immigration.


FIA Lahore Zone Director Sarfraz Khan Virk was briefed on the use of modern equipment. Additional Director Immigration Ayesha Agha and officials from the International Centre for Migration Policy Development were also present.


FIA Director Sarfraz Khan Virk stated that the advanced equipment would enhance the FIA's capability to prevent illegal immigration.
