Met Office forecasts hot and humid weather in most parts  

The Meteorological Department has forecast hot and humid weather in most parts of the country on Wednesday, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

The experts foresaw thundershowers in Islamabad in the evening or night of Wednesday. Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to experience rain with strong winds and thundershowers, the Met Office said.

It added rain with strong winds and thundershowers is likely in KP including Dir, Swat, Malakund, Mansehra, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Kakul, Balakot, Haripur, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Kurram, Bannu, Karak, Lakki Marwat and Kohat

According to experts, heavy rain and hail are also likely at a few places in Malakand, Abbottabad, Kakol, Swat, Dir, Balakot and Kohat.

In Punjab, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunder in Murree, Galiat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Mianwali and Khushab, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Okara, Kasur, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin and Faisalabad.

Weather will remain hot and humid in most districts of Balochistan while winds and thundershowers are expected at a few places in Lasbela, Awaran, Kohlu, Zhob and Loralai and Bar Khan,

Wind and thundershowers are expected in Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad and Sukkur districts of Sindh while drizzle is likely in coastal areas including Karachi, the department said.
