Pakistani actor Ali Abbas appeared as a guest on Adnan Faisal’s podcast where he shared his views regarding adolescents and their excessive use of social media platforms such as TikTok.

The showbiz figure mentioned the alarming economic situation of Pakistan where it is back-breaking for the breadwinner of the family to cope with the increasing taxes and inflation in the country yet kids are indulging in horrendous activities which is not only destroying their mental capacity but also showcasing a vast impact on other teenagers of the same age.

Further, the actor said that these juveniles tend to indulge in acts that have an extremely atrocious effect on the brain development of a child.

He urges the younger generation to be involved in activities that result in their character development and mental psyche.

Ali also stated that an age limit of 18 years should be imposed and monitored and proof of identity in the form of an ID Card or passport should be required before opening an account. He further added that the younger generation is losing their way and becoming negative while the content they are making is also inappropriate to watch.

The podcast was aired on YouTube a few days back which led Ayesha Omar to respond to his podcast, agreeing with the fact that the younger generation should be involved in activities which has a positive impact on them including outdoor activities, and suggests teens cut back on their social media usage.

However, she also urges our society to create a safer environment for children so that they can involve themselves in physical outdoor activities without being troubled about their safety.
