Lollywood gal Meera appears to be a fan of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz, with comments that she was impressed to know her commitment to people’s welfare.

Meera in her recent press conference at Lahore cited that she greatly looks up to Maryam Nawaz, the current Punjab Chief Minister (CM) because of her unwavering commitment and dedication with which she has been working in Punjab after winning the elections.

During the conference, Meera praised Maryam Nawaz saying, “Maryam Nawaz is very hardworking and she inspires me a lot.”

Meera’s statement was not left unheard as hours later, her idol CM Maryam re-shared this clip on her social platform X (formerly Twitter), thanking Meera for her kind words and recognizing her public service.

CM Maryam captioned the video with, ‘So sweet of her’.

Meera is a prominent Pakistani celebrity renowned for her work in the entertainment industry for decades.

She debuted back in the early 1990s and is known for her exceptional acting in her film 'Khilona' in 1996.

She has showcased her acting skills in dramas such as 'Mazhar Rahi' and 'Tum Kon Piya'.
