Govt decides to replace ambassadors in US and United Nations

The federal government has decided to appoint new ambassadors in the US as well as in the United Nations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to diplomatic sources, Rizwan Saeed was likely to replace the incumbent ambassador in the US Sardar Masood Khan.
Rizwan Saeed Sheikh is currently serving as Additional Secretary Middle East in the Foreign Office.
Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, who is currently working as an Ambassador in France, was likely to replace Pakistan’s permanent representative in the United Nations Munir Akram Khan.
Asim Iftikhar Ahmed had also served as a spokesman in the Foreign Office.
A summary has been sent to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the appointment of new ambassadors.
