Two govt officers shot dead over old enmity in Attock

Three brothers shot dead two government officers over an old enmity in Dherikot area of Attock on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Rescue officials said that Jameel and Ali Khan, employees of the Forestry Department, were among those who died.
According to police, the murders were due to an old enmity. The police started an operation in the forest to arrest the accused.
However, Rescue 1122 shifted both the bodies of deceased to the district hospital.
Meanwhile, a woman died and her daughter was critically injured in firing in limits of Sabzi Mandi police station Gujranwala.
According to police, both mother and her 19-year-old daughter Dania were going on a rickshaw when the accused open fire and as a result of firing the woman died on the spot.
Police said that the accused opened fire on the mother and daughter due to the grudge of litigation.
Action has been started to arrest the absconding accused, police said.
