US dollar crosses Rs182 mark against Pakistani rupee

The US dollar with an increase of 37 paisas reached an all-time high at Rs182.15 on the first day of the business week in interbank trading, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
This means, the US dollar now stands at the all-time high in the country's history against the Pakistan rupee.
The US dollar at the start of the interbank trading increased 17 paisas and was advancing towards Rs182 against the Pakistani rupee but even before 12 noon the US dollar crossed the psychological mark of Rs182 and reached Rs182.15.
The economic experts said that the payment of foreign loans and import bills have put pressure on the Pakistani currency. The government has paid a Rs2.43 billion loan in the time span of a month and 18 days.
The previous close on Friday last week of the US dollar was Rs181.78 against the Pakistani rupee.
