Man throws acid on wife’s face over domestic dispute in Renala Khurd

A 30-year-old woman received burn injuries when her husband threw acid on her face and arms over a domestic dispute in Renala Khurd on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to rescue officials, the acid attack victim was shifted to a hospital after first-aid.
Rescue officials said that the 30-year-old woman was found in semi-unconscious condition in the bushes on the roadside near the National Highway, Ada Kissan and the victim's face and arms were found burnt.
On receiving the information, ambulances immediately reached the accident site.
According to the victim, she was traveling with her husband from Vihari to Lahore yesterday when the husband mixed something in her tea, due to which she fainted.
Meanwhile, the husband allegedly threw acid on the woman's face and arm and fled.
The acid-hit woman suffered 15 percent burns, said rescue 1122 officials.
The victim has been identified as Nadia wife of Bilal, resident of 5-WB Vihari.
