Pakistani rupee appreciates against US dollar in interbank trading

The Pakistani rupee recorded a marginal appreciation in its value against the US dollar during trading in the interbank market on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the Pakistani rupee went up by 12 paisas against the greenback and ended the day at Rs285.52.

On Monday, the Pakistani rupee had registered a meagre loss against the US dollar and settled at Rs285.64.

Money traders are uncertain about the current exchange rate, which appears stable with slight variations. Some market experts identified reports about the expected inflow of billions of dollars from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as investments and said the impact of this report failed to stir currency market sentiments.
