The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Thursday made some crucial decisions keeping in view the return of the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
It was decided at an NCOC meeting on Thursday that wearing a mask at public places is mandatory for everyone in the country.
Shops, markets, shopping malls, marriage halls and restaurants will close at 10:00 PM. The NCOC has decided that public parks and other recreational places will close at 6:00 PM and smart lockdowns will be enforced in the hotspot areas.
However, in line with the NCOC decision, medical stores, hospitals and clinics will remain open round the clock.
According to health officials, Pakistan is witnessing a daily increase in the number coronavirus cases and the mortality rate is also going up.
