Seven children injured as dumper hits school van

Seven children were critically injured after a speeding dumper hit a school van parked at Gohadpur Chowk at Marala road in Sialkot, reported 24NewsHD TV Friday.

The injured children, whose ages range from six to nine years, were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment, according to rescue officials. 

The families of the injured children and local residents, however, caught the dumper driver.

Simultaneously, the locals protested against the administration by blocking the Gohadpur chowk for traffic for three hours. Resultantly, there were long queues of vehicles caused by traffic congestion.

After a three-hour-long protest, the high-ups of Sialkot Police arrived the spot and asked demonstrators to call off the protest by assuring that strict action will be taken against the dumper driver.
