Attempts to loot two cash vans foiled in Islamabad

Two attempts by dacoits to loot two cash vans of banks were thwarted in Islamabad on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In the first incident a security guard foiled the dacoits’ bid to loot a cash van in the jurisdiction of Tarnol Police Station.

For offering resistance, the dacoits opened fire on the security guard who was seriously injured after receiving a bullet in his leg.

In the second incident, the dacoits followed a cash van to petrol pump and tried to loot it there by opening firing on the security guards accompanying the vehicle.

Due to firing by the dacoits, the driver and the two security guards were injured. However, the driver of the cash van kept on driving the vehicle despite his injury.
