Car-riding couple killed in targeted attack over old feud in Lahore

In a tragic incident, a couple travelling in a car was killed in a targeted attack in Lahore’s Batapur area due to a long-standing feud, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday. 

According to the Batapur police, the victims were identified as 40-year-old Ashfaq and his wife, 35-year-old Muqaddas Bibi.

As per the report, the assailants chased the couple’s vehicle and opened fire, resulting in their deaths on the spot. 

Forensic teams reached the crime scene to gather evidence, while police initiated a search operation to apprehend the suspects.

Preliminary findings of the local police indicate that the attack was linked to a long-standing enmity.
