Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Wada Mituhiro held a detailed meeting with Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking with Japanese envoy Nawaz Sharif stressed the need to expand trade ties between Japan and Pakistan.
On this occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that Pakistan and Japan wanted to enhance trade volume between the two brotherly countries.
She said that Japanese investment in Punjab will play vital role to streamline foreign investment in the province.
During the meeting Japanese ambassador said that Japan also wanted to expand trade relations with Pakistan.
Senator Pervez Rashid, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb and Special Advisor Rashid Nasrullah, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary also other high officials of the provincial government were also present during the meeting.
