After the induction of three more federal ministers on Thursday morning, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s cabinet has completed its half century, 24NewsHD TV Channel.

Now the cabinet has 27 federal ministers, 4 state ministers, 4 advisers to the Prime Minister and 15 special assistants to the Prime Minister.

With new entry in cabinet, Farrukh Habib has been appointed as minister of state for information and broadcasting. Usman Dar again became a special assistant to PM on youth affairs.

And Dr Waqar Masood has been appointed as a special assistant to PM on treasury and revenue. The cabinet division has issued a notification in this regard.

There are total of 27 federal members including Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Murad Saeed, Pervez Khattak, Zubaida Jalal, Omar Ayub Khan, Hammad Azhar, Shaukat Fayyaz Tarin, Shafqat Mahmood, Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema, Shireen Mazari, Makhdoom Khusro Bukhtiar, Fawad Chaudhry, Syed Amin Ul Haque, Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, Dr Fehmida Riaz, Ali Amin Gandapur, Dr Farogh Naseem, Syed Ali Haider Zaidi, Ijaz Ahmad Shah, Syed Fakhar Imam, Asad Umar, Muhammad Mian Soomro, Azam Khan Swati, Noor-Ul-Haq Qadri, Syed Shibli Faraz and Sahibzad Mehbbob Sultan.

While among the 15 members of Special Assistants to the Prime Minister are Dr Sania Nishtar, Shehzad Arbar, Malik Amin Aslam, Dr Faisal Sultan, Sayed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Ali Nawaz Awan, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, Dr Moeed W Yusuf, Dr Shahbaz Gill, Tabish Gauhar, Dr Waqar Massod Khan (new appointment), Raoof Hasan, Malik Amir Dogar, Jamshed Iqbal Cheema and Usman Dar (new appointment).

There are only four Ministers of State in which Ms Zartaj Gul, Shabbir Ali, Farrukh Habib, and Ali Muhammad Khan are included while among the four-Adviser to the Prime Minister, Mirza Shahzad Akbar, Abdul Razak Dawood, Ishrat Hussain and Zaheer-ud-Din Babar Awan are included.
