Winter vacation announced for non-formal schools

The Department of Literacy and Non-Formal Education has declared winter vacation for all non-formal schools across Punjab province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.
According to the official notification, the holidays will start on January 1 and continue till January 10.
The department has instructed all non-formal schools to follow the holiday schedule and resume classes on January 11.
The winter vacation is aimed at providing relief to the students and teachers from the cold weather and ensuring their health and safety.
