Lahore tops global list of most polluted cities again

The city of gardens, Lahore, has once again been declared the most polluted city in the world with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 532 on Tuesday.
The 24NewsHD TV channel reported that, as per the index, air quality in several areas of Lahore reached alarming levels:
DHA Phase VIII recorded an AQI of 834.
Ghazi Road Interchange registered 575.
Askari-10 recorded 571.
Chattha Park reached 532 AQI.
Experts stated that a dry and cold wave is gripping the city, with no chances of rain to mitigate the smog. The current temperature in Lahore was recorded at 17°C.
They further forecast that in the next 24 hours, Lahore’s minimum temperature could drop to 5°C, while the maximum temperature is expected to rise to 20°C.
