Court issues arrest warrants of Nawaz, five cousins

A banking court in Lahore issued on Saturday bailable arrest warrants of PML-N Quaid and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his five cousins including Tariq Shafi and Javed Shafi.

The court issued the warrants as the accused did not turn up to the court despite being summoned.

The banking court had summoned the accused as they were accused of receiving billions of rupees as loans from the banks for Kashmir Mills and Ettefaq Sugar Mills but never repaid their debts.
