Sameera Elahi efforts: Independent candidate withdraws in PTI’s favour

With the efforts of Sameera Elahi, sister of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, an independent candidate from NA-59 Talagang of Chakwal district Dr. Sardar Nowruz Timon has withdrawn in favor of the PTI candidate Malik Roman Ahmad, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
This development comes when Sameera Elahi visited the residence of Sardar Mumtaz Khan Timon on Sunday, where she received warm welcome and support from the Timon family in her bid for the upcoming elections.
Sardar Mumtaz Khan, father of Dr Nowruz Timon announced his endorsement of the PTI candidates, emphasizing their commitment to the welfare of the constituency.
Samira Elahi thanking him expressed her longstanding association with the Timon family, dating back to 2008.
Malik Roman Ahmad and Sardar Ghulam Abbas are contesting for NA-59. Ghulam Abbas is a ticket holder of PML-N while Malik Roman Ahmad is participating in the elections for the first time.
He was the advisor to CM Punjab in the PTI tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi.
He is brother in law of MPA Hafiz Amar Yasir. Hafiz Amar Yasir was MPA and Minister of Minerals in PTI Tenure.
