Monday and Tuesday will be public holidays in Islamabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
The government and private offices will remain closed on July 31 and August 1 and the Islamabad district administration has been informed about the decision.
According to sources, the Chinese Vice Prime Minister will come to Pakistan on July 31 on a one-day visit and he will be accompanied by a delegation.
Foolproof security arrangements will be made upon the arrival of the delegation, the sources said, adding that the agreements on various projects will be signed.
