The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has sent a legal notice to Islamabad administration for not issuing NOC to hold a rally on July 6 at Tarnol, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PTI leader and senior advocate Shoaib Shaheen sent the legal notice to the district administration on behalf of Aamir Masood Mughal, PTI Islamabad president.
Shoaib Shaheen stated that despite the submission of a written request by PTI, the permission for the rally to PTI Islamabad was still not granted.
The Islamabad High Court has allowed PTI to hold a rally in Islamabad, he said, adding that his client Aamir Masood Mughal was assured permission by the administration during a meeting with the DC.
The DC agreed on Tarnol and assured that the NOC would be issued.
The PTI aims to gather a large number of supporters to showcase their strength and solidarity in the capital region.
He asked the district administration to issue NOC immediately.
