Pakistani wins four medals at Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship

Pakistani power-lifter Mustafa Baig raised the green flag by winning four medals at Commonwealth Games being held in Auckland New Zealand, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Lifter Mustafa Baig participated in the 110 kg weight category and also won silver medals in the bench press, in the deadlift. Mustafa also won a silver medal in a squat.
Mustafa Baig is the only player to represent Pakistan in the Commonwealth. The ongoing Commonwealth Games in Auckland New Zealand will conclude on Dec 4
Around 43 countries participated in the Commonwealth Games including Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Wales, New Zealand, India, and Ireland.
Pertinent to note that neighboring country India alone fielded 30 players in various categories in the Commonwealth Games.
Mustafa Baig also won two gold medals, one silver, and one bronze medal for Pakistan in the Asian Championship in 2019.
Mustafa Faran Baig became the only Pakistani powerlifter to win gold and silver medals at the Asian and Commonwealth Championships respectively.
